(12/19/01) Well, it's only 6 days until Christmas (even if you don't celebrate the holiday) and we've got a little something fun for you! Pictures of Myles in his band from High School. Zia was drummer for the band, called Bittersweet, but he didn't show up in the pictures. Thanks for the pictures Kimberly!
Also, if you didn't get a chance to see the Mayfield Four on tour this summer, you can still get one of the t-shirts they were selling at the shows. I don't know if the band gets anything from the sale of these, but at least if you're wearing one, you'll be promoting the band! I bought one, but shh! don't tell my brother until after christmas ;)
(12/7/01) We've now heard that Myles has written about two albums worth of new songs! This is certainly exciting news! The guys are going to start rehersing the new material soon. (thanks Dawn for the update!)
(11/27/01) Happy Birthday Myles!!!
(10/11/01)Dawn reports that Zia is in LA recording some drum tracks for some new songs with Alessandro's band Gift?. Definitely something to look forward to hearing!
Donna's contributed some new pictures to our concert files and fan pictures! Thanks Donna!
(10/5/01) Rock 94.5's website has some pictures from the show at the Met on tuesday.
(10/4/01) There are new pictures up at the Official Site from this summer's tour. Plus new pictures on this website in the Photos section from the recent show in Spokane. Also, a nice review by Diana - thanks to her for the pictures as well!
(10/01/01) Today's Zia's birthday!!! Happy Birthday :) And tomorrow's the show at the Met in Spokane - i hope everyone who can is going!
(9/29/01) The openning bands for the concert on 10/2 will be Honey Ryder and local Spokane band 13.

Rock 94.5's website also has information on the show and buying tickets.
(9/16/01) The band notes section on the Official Mayfield Four site has been updated - Marty has added a note!
(9/13/01) The concert at the Met on September 21 has been posponed - this is partly due to recent tragic events and partly due to other issues outside of the band's control.
(9/12/01)
The webmaster for this site wishes
to pause and reflect upon yesterday's horrific events. We would like to
express our sympathy with the victims and their families. We support the

see remember.worldatwar.org
for details.
(9/8/01) So has everyone gone to see Rockstar? I highly, highly recommend you go out and see this film. The movie was fabulous and Myles was absolutely brilliant as Mike (aka Thor, God of Thunder). It was truely worth seeing the movie just to see Myles but the rest of the movie was very enjoyable as well. So go see it and make sure to cheer when you see Myles Kennedy in the credits (he's listed twice - as Thor and in the section for Vocalists).
(9/03/01) The House of Blues.com is rebroad casting Summerfest and the Mayfield Four show will be playing on a 24 hour loop starting on September 7. They are also having a contest to win a Sony boombox and autographed copy of Second Skin - contest runs until Sept. 10.
(9/01/01) The video for Sick & Wrong is currently being edited. No word on when it will be released yet.
(8/31/01) While rumors about this show have been building for a while, I finally got enough confirmation to decide to post it on this site. There will be a Mayfield Four headlining show at The Met in Spokane on September 21, benifiting Coats4Kids. This show is being presented by Rock 94.5. For more information (ticket prices have not been announced yet) go to this page at The Met's website.

(8/15/01) We have heard that Mayfield four will be playing a short live set on 105.7 The Peak (Spokane) this Friday (8/17) at 8pm(thanks Diana). Their website is www.1057thepeak.com, but at this point they are not broadcasting over the internet.:(
(8/13/01) This is a note from Craig Montoya from everclearonline.com:
SOME PEOPLE FROM THE FILM COMPANY WERE NICE ENOUGH TO DROP A COPY OF THE MOVIE (rock star) BY FOR US TO WATCH IN BETWEEN TAKES (of their video for their song, rock star). GREG AND I WATCHED IT IN THE TRAILER AND ENJOYED IT. IT'S A PRETTY COOL STORY, BUT OUR FAVORITE PART WAS MYLES KENNEDY'S PART AT THE END. YES MYLES THE SINGER FROM MAYFIELD FOUR HAS A ROLE IN THE END! HE DID WELL BUT IT WAS SO FUNNY TO US WATCHING HIM IN A ROLE LIKE THAT. I GREW UP WITH MYLES AND HE TOTALLY FIT THE PART. IT WAS JUST WEIRD BEING ON THE ROAD WITH SOMEONE FOR 5 WEEKS THEN SEEING THEM IN A MOVIE. THE PREMIER OF THE MOVIE IS SEPTEMBER 2ND AND WE ARE ALL PLANNING ON GOING DOWN TO L.A. TO CHECK IT OUT ON THE BIG SCREEN.
THE LAST WEEK OF TOUR WAS FUN BESIDES SPOKANE. ALL THE SHOWS WERE GREAT!!! CALI, WAS CALI BUT MET SOME GREAT PEOPLE. RENO WAS WEIRD BUT COOL. BOISE WAS KICK ASS AS USUAL. THE SPOKANE SHOW WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE EVERYONE THERE IN CHARGE HAD THEIR HEADS UP THEIR BUTTS! THE COPS ARE JERKS AND THEY DON'T WANT ANYBODY TO HAVE FUN. SORRY TO ANYONE WHO TRAVELLED FAR AND BOUGHT TICKETS TO THAT SHOW. I'M SURE WE WILL TRY AND MAKE IT UP SOMEHOW.
(8/8/01) Very exciting news! Mayfield Four are shooting a video for Sick & Wrong. Much thanks to Lisa and Dawn for getting this information to our attention! Check out this website for more info. Also, the production company's website, Fence Films reports that live footage was shot while they were on tour with Everclear.
(8/5/01) Yes, the show in Spokane was cancelled. According to various sources, the promoters did not fillout the correct paper work for the new venue and so the Sheriff's department came in and closed down the show, shortly before it started - threatening to arrest anyone who played.
(8/4/01) Rumour has it that the Mayfield Four will be going out on tour next with Fuel. This is not official yet - so don't go out and buy your tickets yet (well, unless you were planning on seeing Fuel anyway....) Details will follow as soon as I find out more. (Thanks Dawn!)
(8/3/01) Here's where Peakfest II will be tomorrow:
Spokane MotorSports Complex,
South 20th Russell
Spokane, WA 99011
509-220-4117
Time: 4:30PM
The raceway is actually closer to the new Northern Quest casino. Take Highway 2 to Airway Heights, then turn right onto Hayford Road. Turn left onto Sprague by the casino and it'll take you right to the parking lot. I think the sign by the casino actually says Spokane Raceway Park which is what most people call it.
(Thanks Arwyn and Portland_fan)
(7/31/01) The show this saturday in Spokane, WA (Peakfest II) will not be taking place at the previously announced venue (Playfair). They are working on finding a new venue for the show so that it will go on as planned. Stay tuned to 105.7FM, The Peak or call the radio station at (509) 448-1000 for up-to-date info (thanks Diana!).
(7/26/01) There is a contest running at www.synthesis.net to win a new Sony Discman and a copy of Second Skin. You can win other stuff at the site as well. Contest ends on August 20.
Don't forget - tomorrow the webcast of the Mayfield Four's performance at Summerfest is broadcast on HOB.com at 3pm (EST) and will be run for a continuous 24 hour loop.
Also, there is a contest at KNRK.com - the radio station in Portland, OR, to win tickets and a chance to meet MF4 at the show on August 5th (though you have to be a Washington or Oregon resident to win and travel to the show is not included). Two Mayfield Four songs are featured on their promotional CD for Big Stink 6 (Loose Cannon and Don't Walk Away).
(7/23/01) The venue for July 29 (San Bernardino, CA) has been changed:

Parking available at The Sun Theatre Parking Lot
OTHER INFO: (714) 712-2700

Will call/guest list opens when event starts - I.D. Required to claim your tickets.
(7/15/01) Alessandro emailed the fan list at Yahoogroups the URL
to his band Gift?'s
website - check out www.giftquestionmark.com. I'm listening to their
song "Anyone" right now - wow! Good stuff! I highly, highly recommend
stopping by and listening.
(7/7/01) Craig Montoya, of Everclear, posted this in a letter
on the
official Everclear website:
I CANT THINK OF ANY BETTER BANDS THAT I WOULD RATHER BE ON TOUR WITH RIGHT NOW. I THINK ITS A GREAT SHOW FROM THE GET GO. FLIPP IS ON STAGE FIRST AND THEY ARE SO FUN AND REALLY GET THINGS STARTED RIGHT. NEXT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS THE MAYFIELD FOUR. THEIR RECORD IS FINALLY OUT AND I SUGGEST YOU RUN AND GET IT. THE POOR GUYS BUS BLEW UP THE OTHER DAY. FIRST IT CAUGHT ON FIRE A FEW DAYS INTO THE TOUR THEN THEY BLEW AN ENGINE. MARTY'S BASS AMP BLEW UP THE OTHER DAY TOO. THEY HAVE HAD IT A LITTLE ROUGH BUT THEY ARE ALL STOKED TO BE ROCKIN WITH US.
(7/4/01) Happy Fourth of July! A little bad news in the MF4 camp. Apparently their bus broke down. But they should be getting a new bus tomorrow. This all from a band who's previous mode of transportation would spontaneously catch fire or break an axel on the way to a show...
(7/2/01) Rock 94.5 FM in Spokane, host of the MF4's release party for Second Skin, has pictures and some commentary, from the show last tuesday - click here.
(6/30/01) The summer tour with Everclear, American Hi-Fi, and Flipp has started and we have our first review up in the review section and pictures from that show - thanks Jordan!.
(6/27/01) Some reports are in about the show at Outback Jack's yesterday. Sounds like there was a good crowd of people there and lots of fun had by all. 140 copies of the new CD were sold at the show! The set list was: Backslide, High, Lyla, Suckerpunch, Eden, Flatley's Crutch, Believe, Loose Cannon, Mars Hotel, Sick and Wrong, (encore) Always, Baba O'Reilly (cover of the Who's Teenage Wasteland). Hopefully I'll get some pictures from people soon!
(6/26/01) The new album is out today! Go buy it!
The Mayfield Four will be Live and Online at HOB.com on July 27, 2001 at 3PM (ET)/6PM(PT) for a
webcast at the House of Blues!
If you want to hear the song "Breakthough" as the next single for Big
Wreck, go to bigwreck.com
and vote for it. Remember, Myles Kennedy does backing vocals for that song.
(6/13/01) I had some info posted here yesterday about the release party. That info has been updated. Click here to see a copy of the message left on the MF4 BBS for the latest information.
(6/9/01) Marty says that the official site will have more sound clips
AND video in the future so keep checking.
The Mayfield Four are listed
as epicrecords.com's
"artist on the rise". They include a full version of "Eden" for down load
on their site.
Also, the release party (Outback Jack's, 6/26/01)
is by invite but if you show up you can just pay a fee to get in.
(6/6/01) The new Big Wreck album, The Pleasure and the Greed, came out yesterday. It's a great album, and Myles Kennedy does the backing vocals on the song "Breakthrough".
(6/4/01) The Official Mayfield Four site has been updated with new
sites and sounds. Make sure to check it out - the song playing during
the intro is "Sick & Wrong".
Also, I have added scans of the article
in Rolling Stone to the articles section
of this website.
(6/01/01) The Mayfield Four are mentioned in the Rolling Stone's Summer Concert Guide issue. It's under the section on Everclear's summer tour on pg. 48.
(5/26/01) Happy 3rd Anniversary of the Release of FALLOUT! "...the fallout takes its toll on me and you..."
(5/22/01) There will be a release party at Outback Jack's in Spokane, WA on June 26. It will probably be a 18+ or 21+ show. Expect a big crowd of fans! And if you go, please send me your reviews and pictures. Thanks!
(5/15/01) Second Skin will be coming out on Tuesday June 26th. Tickets are on sale now for all of the Everclear Civic Tour shows (with American Hi-Fi and the MAYFIELD FOUR!). Go to ticketmaster.com, search on "everclear" and use the presale password, "civictour".
(5/13/01) Yes, the tour with Days of the New was cancelled the day the tour was supposed to start by DOTN's lead singer. Rumours on the DOTN message board suggest that he either he's continuing to work on their new album, he checked himself into rehab, or (somewhat more unlikely) it had something to do with Tantric. The Four are heading back home to Spokane now.
(5/12/01) Apparently the show in Tampa was cancelled ... does this mean the 4 won't be doing any shows with DOTN? I don't know ...
(5/10/01) There seems to be some confusion as to whether or not the Four will be touring with Days of the New this month. If I find out what's up I'll post it here.
(5/9/01) The Mayfield Four is the number 2 added band to radio ... which means everyone and I do mean EVERYONE needs to call and request Eden! (thanks Dawn and Marty)
(5/6/01) The 4 will be on tour with Days of the New through May 28 or 29th and will be setting out again with Everclear for the show on June 29th in Pheonix.
(4/30/01) There are new photos in the photo section and new tour dates withe Days of the New for May and some new dates with Everclear in June/July. I 'll be putting a review of the show in Clarion, PA from last saturday up soon. Oh, and someone posted on Everclear's BBS saying that the release date for second skin is June 19.
(4/22/01) If you want to hear a 30 second clip of Eden, go to Epic Records - New Releases.
(4/21/01) The new single, Eden, has been officially released for airplay - go call your radio stations and request it. The boys are heading out for their 5 college tour with Everclear and Flipp which starts next friday (see the tour page). (I'll be at the show in Clarion, PA!). I've added a couple of new things to the article section - all old stuff but still interesting.
(4/11/01) The new official MF4 site is up! Check out www.themayfieldfour.com. It does confirm that Eden is the new single and has some great new pictures that include the new guitarist, Alessandro.
(4/9/01) Well, I've heard from several people in the Pacific Northwest that they've heard the new MF4 single on their radio stations. However, there seems to be some confusion as to what song is actually the single. Word from the band is that the single is "Eden" but listeners to stations in Portland and Spokane have reported hearing "Loose Cannon". Well, in any, call your radio stations and request the MF4 single - whatever it is!
(4/3/01) In addition to touring with Everclear for their summer tour, MF4 will be playing with them at 5 colleges (see the tourdates page). The new official MF4 website will be up next week (www.themayfieldfour.com). This will just be a "teaser" site with a few pictures, mp3's and other stuff. The official site will be up in June in conjunction with the release of the new album (thanks for the info Marty!).
(3/28/01) According to the official Everclear website, the Mayfield Four will be opening for Everclear on their summer tour. The line up will be (?), the Mayfield Four, American Hi-Fi, then Everclear. They haven't announced cities/dates yet.
(3/20/01) The first single "Eden" (Turn the Page) will be on radio stations starting in April. The new album is coming out in June it is called 2nd Skin. There are new tour dates listed on the "tour dates" page.
(3/1/01) A bit of news today - Marty says the album is not being released until June *big sigh* but the first single's coming out in April (Yeah!). They recently did a show in Seattle - here's the set list: BACKSLIDE, HIGH, LYLA, SUCKERPUNCH, EDEN, LOOSE CANNON, BELIEVE, FLATLEYS, MARS HOTEL, SICK & WRONG, ALWAYS AND HIGHWAY TO HELL. They'll be playing another show in Portland on March 9th (not sure of the details).
(2/19/01) This is a little off the wall but, "Fallout" was released on May 26, 1998, which was 1000 days ago today. Wow. I haven't had my (first) copy of Fallout for quite that long, but pretty close. I suppose I should really be counting down how many days until the next album comes out. Maybe I'll figure that out tomorrow.
(2/5/01) Okay, so here's the scoop. Marty says that the new album is coming out on May 29th. They've hired a new guitar player and are doing a show on February 23 in Spokane.
(1/29/01) I got an email from a guy who works with the MF4 yesterday (thanks Royce!). He tells me that the guys are rehearsing and working on stuff for the album. He also tells me that the label has delayed release of the new album, possibly to late May. Touring may begin, possibly late March. Can we wait that long??? But all the reports i've been hearing, especially on the official site, say that the new album's going to be fantastic!
(1/21/01) Yesterday I found an article on VH1.com which confirmed rumors that Myles is going to be in the upcoming movie "Rock Star", which opens on April 13, starring Mark Wahlberg. Here's the quote from the article: "Sharp-eyed fans will also spot Myles Kennedy of the Mayfield Four and Chris Hower of post-grungers Radford in the Stephen Herek-directed film."
(1/15/01) Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! I've got some interesting updates on the new album. First off, it won't be coming out until April 2001 (not February, like I reported before). The band will be doing some shows in February/March and then touring with a big band starting around the time that the album comes out. Also, I've just read a post on the official website's BBS that claims the album's name is SECOND SKIN and, according to the poster "This is the best rock record that i've heard in the last ten years!"
