News - 2000
  • (12/3/00) It's been a while since i've had time to updating anything but finally something important's come up that's worth reporting! First off, reliable sources (a.k.a. Marty M.) report that the next M ayfield Four album will be out at the end of February, 2001. I'd love to get an actual date so we could start a count down :)

Second, the Mayfield Four newsletter has been finished and sent to the label for approval (thanks Dawn and Marty!). This means it could be out any day now. I'll post a note when I get it.

Finally, Marty says there's going to be a new Mayfield Four website: www.mayfieldfour.com
I went there today and it's apparently not up yet. Hopefully soon!

  • (9/18/00) Well, I just watched www.RadioWoodstock.com's broadcast of the Fuel gig in Poughkeepsie. Unfortunately it was edited down to about 50 minutes and it cut out the part with Myles. Though it did leave in a rather amusing snip-it where Brett started to sing a song and couldn't remember the words. He called out to Myles (not on stage) to see if he knew the words. Then he said "hi" to their friends in the Mayfield Four. Somewhere around that time was an incident involving a fan throwing her underwear onto stage and someone (Carl, i think) claiming they belonged to Myles.

So, what's up with the band? Well, they were in Woodstock, recording for a while, but now, rumor has it, they're in Florida mixing the new albumn, set for release next february.

  • (9/10/00) Well, i'm currently reorganizing this into a "real website" (as opposed to just one continuous page).

Fuel did a gig in Poukeepsie (sp?) recently and Myles Kennedy sang a number with the band. RadioWoodstock.com is re-broadcasting this show on 9/18/00.
