If you think JAMPAC does not concern or affect you in your life, guess again. If you listen to music, go to concerts, like to go out, enjoy culture, appreciate different forms of expression, purchase albums and are fans of art in general (we all are) then please get involved. Do not take your music or favorite forms of art for granted, there could be some form of legislation aiming to take that away from you." on music: "I grew up in Spokane listening to Tango music from Argentina and Gazals and Quawwali music from India as well as my mother9s keen sense of rock music on the FM radio. Around the age of nine or ten, one of the neighborhood kids turned me on to their collection of Kiss, Black Sabbath, ACDC and Led Zeppelin. This influential music was the catharsis for me. I found myself trying to play the drums to all the songs I was hearing. I took up the drums in the 5th grade and found playing to be an incredible outlet and later on in my life very therapeutic and rewarding. Music makes me who I am as a person to a great extent." |
